Project Overview
Gallivan Corporation was hired to renovate the existing backyard of this residence to incorporate a pool, pool house and large patio space.
The Challenge
Multiple challenges were faced with this project. The septic system was located in backyard, the yard was on a slope and not very private and access was limited.
The Results
We designed a backyard with a retaining wall to level the area for the pool and pool house. Features added to the pool included a sun shelf and water feature. An oversized fire pit with a seating bench were installed adjacent to the pool area. Large patio areas were created around the pool and connected to the existing raised patio/dining patio that had new pavers installed to match those specified for the project. We also expanded the lighting system and heavily planted the slope with mixed evergreens, shrubs and perennials to provide privacy.
