Gallivan Corp., a family-owned landscape design, construction and management firm with headquarters in Troy, N.Y., acquired New England Landscape and Aquatics in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Brian Turton, who has owned New England Landscape and Aquatics for more than five years, will lead landscape design and sales for Gallivan in Williamstown.
“Together we share a strong commitment to the local community and we look forward to continuing the relationships Brian has built over the years with his clients and staff and helping to grow this company and our existing Williamstown branch,” said Brendan Gallivan, founder and president of Gallivan Corp.
Gallivan, founded in 1993, will have more than 100 employees as a result of the acquisition, and expects to hire more in the coming months. Gallivan bought another Massachusetts firm, Northern Landscape Services, in November 2012.
