Gallivan Corporation is a fast growing, full-service landscape company looking for a Shop Mechanic to join our team. Duties include working on trucks, lawn mowers, and equipment. This is a full-time position, 40 plus hours per week. A clean driver’s license is required and you must own your own tools. 401k, 401k matching and health benefits available.

Gallivan Corporation, a quality, full-service landscape company is seeking an individual with a minimum of five years of related experience. A valid class A or B CDL and knowledge of heavy/light equipment operation required. Hook truck experience a plus. Must be dependable. Gallivan Corporation is a drug-free workplace. • Responsible for the daily operations of Landscape Management crews.
• Act as liaison between Crew Leader, Operations Manager, Fleet Manager, and Department Director.
• Recognize and rectify potential problems in the field, enforce company safety policies.
• Participation in weekly meetings held to manage Landscape Management Department.
• Aide in timely completion of various tasks needed by Department.
• Responsible for clerical administrative items for multiple crews.

• Works within crew of Landscape Management Division maintaining and creating amazing landscape for our clients.
• Applicants must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions and have general understanding of landscaping basics.

Requires: Experienced and broad background in Construction/Utility. Experience in diesel mechanics/mechanical experience including small engine, welding, fabrication & periodic maintenance. • All aspects of masonry from bluestone patios, pavers and manufactured retention walls

• 3+ years of experience
• Determines work requirements and sequence of masonry/tile assignments through review of work orders, plans, or drawings
• Operates equipment, such as forklift, dump truck, and flatbed

Requires: Knowledge of related tools, masonry techniques, equipment and materials. Skill in the construction, alteration, repair, and maintenance of masonry structures and surfaces. 401k, 401k matching and health benefits available.

• On-site management of landscape projects (Construction, Irrigation, Renovation)
• Ensures project is constructed in accordance with budget, schedule, design and specifications
• Serves as company’s on-site representative
• Responsible for project administrative items

Requires: Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods). Motivation and training of staff. Communication skills when dealing with owners, architects and suppliers.
